Thought Question #78

I have gone into childhood memories with the Thought Questions. My happiest childhood memories include my grandfather, my grandmother, my mother, my aunt and my uncle. And they are precisely the reason it is so special.

I couldn't have asked for a better childhood. At least, I don't think so. And that's all that matters.

What is your happiest memory as a child?

The day I learned to ride my bike without training wheels.

I kept falling, and falling, and I thought I'd never get there.

When I finally did, it was like flying. Exhilirating. Scary. But worth the bruises and the uncertainty, for that feeling.

What a great to put it! I only learned to ride my bike without training wheels when I was 11. Sad, huh?

No, I don't think it's sad. The most important thing is that you made it there. The most important thing is you got a taste of that sweetness.

How long it takes to get there isn't important. What's important is that you got there. :)
