Tear Down My Walls Please

Dear Heart

I 'met' a boy this weekend... Prepare to shatter.

Love, Me

I went to a friend's house this weekend. With two of my girl friends. It was quite a way to drive. But I didn't mind. This friend and I went to Primary School together. We've known about each other for over 14years. We've known each other for 3 weeks. We found each other again on (Surprise!) Facebook. =)

The chemistry and sparks between us was undeniable. I slept over. We sat talking, across from each other for a whole of 2 hours. We spoke about our lives. Our inner workings and feelings. We spoke about our pasts. We spoke about our friendships. Our expectations. The way our personalities and the way we think are so much alike. It's like we've known each other for those 14years. What a start to a friendship huh? Is that normal?

So I slept over. Shared his double bed. We lay in bed talking some more. And held hands. He tickled me. I tickled him. After finding where he's ticklish that is. After finding out that the same spot where he's ticklish... is also a very sensitive spot... a cause for excitement... if ya know what I mean. Yeah. We kissed about 3 times. Soft, sensual kisses. Our breathing and heart beats went into overdrive. He grabbed me closer to him, pressing his warm, toned body against mine for just a second... lingering a bit... losing it a bit... and let go. WE let go. And just lay there. Calming down our hormones. Talking some more. And falling asleep.

It was nice. It was perfect. It was mysterious.

It was the best medicine for my aching heart...

There's hope. Or not. We'll see.

There really is decent life out there... Hehe!

Aw. Good luck with your newly rediscovered friend. I hope things go well.

And yes, I know what you mean. I’ve always found the sole of my left foot to be both ticklish and very sensitive – obviously I’m not the only one.

@Jenn - Thank you Jenn! I'm so excited and I'm trying to contain myself. I don't want to jump into anything and I like the way our friendship is going at the moment. I want to be able to build something out of that. Nothing less. Hehe! I feel like a giddy teenager though!

@Simon - Hehe! You shouldn't tell me things like that... you read what happens... =)

Thank you, and be prepared for a lot of ramblings from now on. I LOVE that I'm enjoying life after the ex now. I LOVE that I can talk about him and not get a lump in my throat. I LOVE that I feel so alive and free. And I wanna enjoy this feeling for a little while longer. Find out everything about 'ME'! =)

O nee! Moenie wees nie - geniet dit! Dis baie goed beskryf en laat my wens ek was weer 21 (moet asb net nie vir my dogters en kleindogter vertel nie).

Lingering kisses and pressed upon bodies and you both had absolute control????? Good Gawd! I don't think I could have been as strong as that. LOL! That is awesome that you've known "of" each other for so long, but getting to know each other on a different level all over again. I hope it works out for you, but then again, I am such a deep water romantic, that I would drown in stories of love, romance and the like.

Okay not absolute control.. but we tried. Thanx sweetie. I hope it works out, but I'm thinking it'll take longer than anticipated. I must remember to hold myself and my over-active emotions at bay. At least until I see it returned in some way. In more ways. =)
