Thought Question #416
"I love you".
Those three words, when used together may be the most powerful words in the English language.
Thos three words have the power to...
Turn desperation into hope.
Make bad days into good days.
Cause hearts to skip a beat.
Provide purpose to a life of monotony.
But we rarely use those words together...
at least between friends,
at least to people that we do life with.
Sure, we know that we love certain people,
we feel it in our hearts and would do anything for them.
But we seldom voice it.
We don't think it's 'manly'.
We'd rather trash talk and joke around.
It's easier to let it go unspoken.
But it's so much better spoken.
to let others know how we feel.
As Christians, these three words should radiate from our life.
At the heart of everything we do should be an,
'I love you'.
That's what the world needs.
That's your hurt friends needs.
That's what the unchurched people you work or go to school with need.
They need to feel an 'I love you'.
They need to feel Jesus.
Let's be Him.
Who is someone you need to tell "I love you"?
Who was the last person to tell you "I love you"?
